Young Blood's Story
Get to Know Me
How I got the nickname YoungBlood:
Back in 2018 I was apart of an amazing group called First Take Your Take, where the show First Take released a new debate topic each week and they would pick a winner to debate Stephen A Smith or Max Kellerman. On one of the shows during a topic about the 2018 March Madness, Co Host Molly Qerim called me Young Blood on national TV and the name stuck ever since.
Bracketology History:
I’ve made Bracketologies each week from January-March since 2021. But I finally decided to make a website showing them this year, and I have officially joined the Bracket Matrix for the 2024/2025 season. So follow along each week to see my bracketologies!
My experience in Sports:
I went to College at Oklahoma State University where I was a Sports Management major. At Oklahoma State I met so many incredible people and athletes. My Sophomore year was the year we actually made March Madness with Cade Cunningham which increased my passion for College Basketball even more. I also worked with several student athletes at Oklahoma State on helping build their brand and NIL deals which was such an amazing experience to work hand to hand with these athletes to help benefit them.
What I do for work:
I am currently a Real Estate agent in the great state of Arizona, I’ve been licensed since July 2024 and I absolutely love working with so many great people. Being a Realtor has so many similarities to what I loved about sports. The competitiveness and being apart of a team is an incredible experience.
My Passions:
Other than sports/College Basketball I am very passionate about my faith and my walk with Jesus Christ. HE’s been with me through it all and each day I strive to do better for HIM.
